GDPR Deletion Requests

Manage customer data deletion requests in compliance with GDPR (General Data Protection Regulation). When customers request deletion of their personal data, admins can review, approve, or reject these requests from this page.

Navigate to Operations → Deletion Requests.

Deletion Requests Tab

The main table displays all incoming deletion requests with the following information:

CustomerName and email of the requesting customer
ReasonThe customer's stated reason for deletion
StatusCurrent state: Pending, Approved, or Rejected
Requested AtWhen the request was submitted
Processed AtWhen the request was approved or rejected

Processing a Request

For pending requests, three actions are available:

Approve

  1. Click the Approve (✓) button
  2. Review the customer information displayed
  3. Export the customer's data before proceeding — this step is recommended since approval is irreversible
  4. Add optional admin notes
  5. Confirm approval

Approving a deletion request is irreversible. All personal data associated with the customer will be permanently removed. Always export the data first if you may need it for legal or compliance purposes.

Reject

  1. Click the Reject (✗) button
  2. Provide admin notes explaining the reason for rejection (required)
  3. Confirm rejection

Export Data

Click the Export (↓) button to download all stored data for the customer before making a decision.

Audit Log Tab

The Audit Log tab provides a complete trail of all GDPR-related actions taken by administrators.

Use the Action Type filter to narrow down audit entries by specific action types.
