GDPR Deletion Requests
Manage customer data deletion requests in compliance with GDPR (General Data Protection Regulation). When customers request deletion of their personal data, admins can review, approve, or reject these requests from this page.
Navigate to Operations → Deletion Requests.
Deletion Requests Tab
The main table displays all incoming deletion requests with the following information:
| Column | Description |
|---|---|
| Customer | Name and email of the requesting customer |
| Reason | The customer's stated reason for deletion |
| Status | Current state: Pending, Approved, or Rejected |
| Requested At | When the request was submitted |
| Processed At | When the request was approved or rejected |
Processing a Request
For pending requests, three actions are available:
Approve
- Click the Approve (✓) button
- Review the customer information displayed
- Export the customer's data before proceeding — this step is recommended since approval is irreversible
- Add optional admin notes
- Confirm approval
Approving a deletion request is irreversible. All personal data associated with the customer will be permanently removed. Always export the data first if you may need it for legal or compliance purposes.
Reject
- Click the Reject (✗) button
- Provide admin notes explaining the reason for rejection (required)
- Confirm rejection
Export Data
Click the Export (↓) button to download all stored data for the customer before making a decision.
