Languages & Currencies
Languages
Navigate to Settings → Languages to manage available languages.
Language Fields

Adding a Language
- Click New Language
- Enter the name and ISO code
- Save
- Assign the language to stores that should support it
- Start adding translations for products, categories, etc.

Adding a new language doesn't automatically create translations. You need to manually translate content for each entity (products, categories, attributes, etc.) via their respective edit forms.
Currencies
Navigate to Settings → Currencies to manage available currencies.

Adding a Currency
- Click New Currency
- Enter the name, code, and symbol
- Set the exchange rate (informational — prices are set explicitly per variant)
- Save
- Assign the currency to stores
- Set prices for product variants in the new currency
tip
The exchange rate field is for reference/display purposes. Actual product prices are set explicitly per variant per currency — they are not auto-calculated from exchange rates. This gives you full control over pricing strategy per market.
